Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), is an Israeli provider of integrated application delivery / load balancing and application & network security solutions for virtual and cloud data centers. It has regional headquarters in the U.S. in Mahwah, New Jersey, Asia Pacific headquarters in Shanghai, China and its international corporate headquarters are located in Tel Aviv, Israel. Radware has over 10,000 enterprise and carrier customers worldwide. Radware is a member of the Rad Group of companies and its shares are traded on NASDAQ.
History
Radware, a provider of application delivery and security solutions for virtual and cloud data centers, was founded in 1997. [1] Roy Zisapel is the president, CEO and director. In 1999 the company had an initial public offering and was listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange.[2]
Zisapel holds a 3.4 percent stake in the company. His father, Yehuda Zisapel, is the largest shareholder, with a 15 percent stake.[3]
Acquisitions
In November 2005, Radware acquired V Secure Technologies.[4] In April 2007, Radware acquired Covelight Systems, a provider of web application auditing and monitoring tools based Cary, North Carolina, for $16 USD million.[5] In February 2009 Radware acquired Nortel’s Application Delivery business (Alteon) and now offers them under a merged brand, Radware Alteon. In February 2013, Radware acquired Strangeloop Networks, a leader in Web-Performance Optimization (WPO) solutions for e-commerce and enterprise applications.[6]
Sales markets
The company markets and sells its products worldwide through an indirect sales channel that includes distributors and resellers located in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Its customers cover all major industry segments including financial services, insurance, e-Commerce, manufacturing, retail, government, healthcare, education, transportation, services and carriers.[7]

Radware partners with application and technology providers such as Blue Coat Systems, ByteMobile, Forum Systems, HP, IBM, InfoSys, SAP SE, FatPipe Networks, Juniper Networks, Microsoft, Oracle Corporation, Riverbed Technology, RSA and VMWare.[8]
