Raffaele Di Gennaro (born 3 October 1993) is an Italian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serie B club Latina on loan from Internazionale. He is also an Italy U20 international.
Career
Di Gennaro was the starting goalkeeper for Internazionale Primavera, who ended up winning the NextGen Series and the Campionato Nazionale Primavera. Di Gennaro missed half of the both 2010–11 and 2011–12 season due to injury.[1] Di Gennaro remained as one of the keeper for Primavera in 2012–13 season as overage player.
On July 5, 2013 he was loaned out to Serie B club A.S. Cittadella [2] He made his professional Serie B debut on August 24, in a game versus Spezia [3]
In his first season, Di Gennaro kept 12 clean sheets for Cittadella in 39 matches, only conceding 47 goals throughout the 2013/14 season. On July 11, 2014 he joined Serie B side Latina for his second loan spell.[4] Di Gennaro is also eligible to represent the San Marino national football team if he choose to do so as his mother was born in San Marino.
