Raghav Chadha

Raghav Chadha is one of the youngest spokesperson of Aam Aadmi Party, treasurer of the party's Delhi unit and a practicing chartered accountant.

Early life

Hia father is a lawyer and mother homemaker. He was born in New Delhi and attended Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. He also studied at Sri Venkateshwara College, University of Delhi. Later, he qualified as a chartered accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is single.[1]

Political career

He met Arvind Kejriwal during the Anna andolan during which the decision of forming AAP by Arvind was taken in 2012 and he joined the wings right away as he was also involved in trying to draft the Jan Lokpal Bill[2]

Controversy

A New Delhi court summoned Raghav Chadha and 5 other AAP leaders in the Arun Jaitley Defamation case where they allegedly falsely defamed him in the DDCA controversy even though Arun Jaitley was not named as part of it by the SIT.[3][4][5] Raghav also has been a aggressive opponent of the Bhushans who were removed from the party ingloriously[6][7]
