Ragnvald Vaage

Ragnvald Vaage (29 April 1889 27 June 1966 ) was a Norwegian farmer, poet, novelist and children's writer. He was born in Husnes in Kvinnherad, and was grandfather of Lars Amund Vaage. His first poetry collections were Liv som strir from 1912, Bylgja from 1913, and Strengspel from 1914. Among his children's books are Gutane på Tedneholmen from 1923, Den forunderlege vegen, Den gode sumaren and the prize-winning Stivnakkane. His novel Den vonde draumen from 1953 was awarded with Sunnmørsprisen.[1][2]
