Rainbow Falls, also known to locals as Graffiti Falls, is a waterfall located on Fountain Creek in Manitou Springs, Colorado. These falls are known for the large amount of graffiti painted on the canyon walls and bridge overpass. The falls' plunge is located beneath a bridge that links Manitou Avenue to Highway 24. The trail head to the falls is located on a 180 degree bend in Serpentine Drive, about a half mile off of HWY 24 across from the entrance to the Cave of the Winds. The location of the entrance is at coordinates: 38°52'04.8"N 104°55'26.9"W (Map). As of June 2013 the trail and parking lot are closed for the summer of 2013 for improvement from the El Paso County Parks Department.[2] The falls have since reopened with a concrete walkway that snakes along the river.
