Rajalingampet is a Gram Panchayat village located in Medipalle Mandal, Karimnagar District, Telangana State, India. Rajalingampet is located 49.8 km distance from its District Headquarters (Karimnagar).[1]
History
After GP
- In the beginning, Rajalingampet village is a Hamlet village of Govindharam.
- Thannir Venkat Rao is the 1st Sarpanch(1967-1982) and Rajgopal Rao is the 2nd Sarpanch(1977-1982) of Govindharam, where Rajalingampet & Ratnalapalli are treated as a hamlet village and has been represented by Jakileti Bhoom Rao as a Ward member to the village during the period of 1967 to 1982(15 years).
- In 1982 The Election commission has declared that Rajalingampet will be a Gram panchayat with approximately 700 voters, and a hamlet of Ratnalapalli.
- In 1982,Jakileti Bhoom Rao S/O Hanumanth Rao is elected as a First Sarpanch of Rajalingampet Village.
- In 1982 Gram Panchayat was built with the funds of PMRY, and the land is donated by Jakileti Bhoom Rao.

Economy
- The main source of income for the residents is farming. Here they cultivate mostly Paddy, Cotton, Turmeric, Sunflower etc.
- 35% of the people are daily labours.
- 5% of the people rely upon the Palm (thati & eetha) wines for their source of income.
- Most of the young people are migrated(ing) to gulf countries for their earnings.
Education
- In 1952 the first Government Primary School was established by Bujanga Rao.
- in 1985, Jakileti Bhoom Rao has extended the School in its area.
- On 26 December 1994 a new Government Primary School was constructed and it was inaugurated by Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao (Governor of Maharashtra) in the period of Jakileti Prabhakar Rao as Sarpanch, this is relocated just besides to Sri Rajarajeswara Swami Devalayam.
- In 2000 an Anganwadi (play) School was established by the Funds of PMRY.

1. Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swami Devalayam[2]
- In the year of 1935, Sri Bujanga Rao has provided shelter for Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swami Devalayam.
- In 1950 they have renovated the existing temple with the help of Bujanga Rao.
- During Jakileti Bhoom Rao as Sarpanch in the year 1982, People of this village started celebrating Maha Shivratri Jatara.
- In 1985 They have built a Darmashala besides to temple for the purpose of “Bakthi Samagri” with the help of Jakileti Bhoom Rao and other donates.
- In 1988, Mantapam was built with the donations of villagers.
- In 2001 "GajaStambam" was established by Karandla Nagayya with the help of Sambha Shiva Rao S/O Bujanga Rao.

Features
- In 1975, Electricity Department of Andhra Pradesh has started providing electricity power to Rajalingampet.
- In 2000, Tap water connection was provided to every house hold in the village.
- The availability of florid free water has come into existence in Rajalingampet under the Florid Free Drinking Water Scheme, with the help of Warangal diocese social service society and it was inaugurated on 25 March 2012 by Adi Srinivas (YSR Congress Leader).
- Vijaya dairy has opened their milk collection centre in the village.
Village Sarpanch's
After formation of Rajalingampet Gram Panchayat the following people are elected as the Sarpanchs of village.
1) Jakileti Bhoom Rao (1982- 1992)
The first Sarpanch of the village. He was born in 1949 and completed his 12th standard in the year of 1967 from multipurpose high School, Jagtial. He is a classmate of Jeevan Reddy (Former Minister & MLA ) . During his period he has been elected two times as a sarpanch. Maha Shivaratri and Dasara festival celebrations are started by him in the village.

4) Gajoji Sathaiah (2002 - 2007)
