Rajkumar Sharma

Rajkumar Sharma, was born in Delhi on 18 June 1965, and is a cricket coach and a former Ranji Trophy player.

Early Years

Sharma was a right handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. He represented Delhi in First Class Cricket (1986-1991) matches and also some List A matches.

Success with West Delhi Cricket Academy

Sharma founded West Delhi Cricket Academy in the year 1998 with a mission to produce top-class cricketers. He opened its four branches in Delhi. He is still a senior coach in the academy. Virat Kohli, who was raised in Uttam Nagar, trained at the West Delhi Cricket Academy since its inception in 1998.[1] As of 2014 Kohli continues to be involved with the academy.[2]
