Rakeem Nathan Nunez-Roches (born July 3, 1993) is a Belizean-born professional football defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Southern Mississippi.
Personal
Born in Dangriga, Belize, Nunez-Roches is fluent in both English and Garifuna.[1]
College career
Nunez-Roches played at the University of Southern Mississippi from 2011 to 2014. After his junior year, he entered the 2015 NFL Draft.[2][3]
Professional career
Nunez-Roches was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.[4][5] He was the first Belizean born player to be drafted in the NFL.[6]
