Ralph Head
Ralph Head (August 30, 1893 – October 8, 1962) was a Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball pitcher. Head played professionally for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1923.
Head was born in Tallapoosa, Georgia. He served in the military during World War I and was awarded a Purple Heart. He died in Muscadine, Alabama, but was returned to Tallapoosa for burial at the Hollywood Cemetery.
