Ralph Peters (LIRR)
Ralph Peters (born in Atlanta, Georgia November 19, 1853) was the son of another railroad man, Richard Peters, and president of the Long Island Rail Road. He was elected president of the LIRR in April 1905.
Peters graduated from the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, Georgia, with a Bachelor of Arts in 1872.
