Ralph Rimmer

Ralph Rimmer is a former Irish rugby league player, administrator and coach of the Ireland national rugby league team. He is currently a director at Huddersfield Giants and the Chief Operating Officer for the Rugby Football League.[1]

Administration

Rimmer was chief executive of Sheffield Eagles during the early days of Super League. He enjoyed success with the club as they reached the Challenge Cup final in 1998, however as finances plummeted he became one of the key players in the 1999 merger with Huddersfield Giants. He became chief executive of the new club and held that position until 2004, when he was succeeded by the incumbent, Richard Thewlis.

Rimmer was manager of the Ireland national rugby league team during the 2000 World Cup campaign.
