A band of monks and brahmacharis of the Ramakrishna Order manage the activities of the Vidyalaya assisted by teaching and non-teaching staff.
School's Motto
"We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on his own feet. What we want is Western Science coupled with Vedanta, Brahmacharya as the guiding motto, and also shraddha, faith in one's own self. We need technical education and all else which may develop industries so that men, instead of seeking for service, may earn enough to provide for themselves and save something against a rainy day. It is man-making religion that we want. It is man-making education that we want. It is character-building education aiming for all-round development of man that we want." - Swami Vivekananda
