Ramez Dayoub (Arabic:رامز ديوب) born 9 August 1984 in Beirut) is a Lebanese footballer who last played for Selangor FA in the Malaysia Super League.[1][2] A former Lebanon national football team player, he has also played his professional football career in Lebanon, Qatar and Myanmar.

Match fixing scandal and ban

On February 26, 2013 Ramez was accused of illegal betting on several national and continental games concerning Lebanese teams and the national team. He was banned from football for life and fined $ 15,000.[3]

In view of the decision, Selangor FA had Ramez's registration with the Malaysia FA annulled by the body, meaning that Ramez can no longer play for Selangor in any competition.[4]
