Ramiro Ortiz
Not to be confused with Ramiro Ortíz.
Ramiro Ortiz is a Nicaraguan businessman. He heads Grupo Promérica, one of the main corporate groups of Nicaragua.[1] He controls or used to control Palcasa, a firm, that replaces jungle areas with palm oil plants.[2] He is among the richest men of Nicaragua.[3] He owns Banco de la Producción. He used to live or lives in Managua.[4] He owns or used to own El Nuevo Diario newspaper.[5]
