Randal Plunkett, 21st Baron of Dunsany (born 9 March 1983) is an Irish film director and producer.[1] He is the eldest son of the late Edward Plunkett, 20th Baron of Dunsany, and his wife Maria Alice Villela de Carvalho.[2] He is also the great-grandson of the author Edward Plunkett, 18th Baron of Dunsany.

He was born in New York City, where his parents were living and working at the time.[2] His family subsequently moved to Ireland, his father's homeland.[2] He later attended Institut Le Rosey, a boarding school in Switzerland.[3] He has a degree in film studies from London's Kingston University, as well as a diploma in Digital Video from the SAE Institute in London.[1]

He succeeded to the title of Baron of Dunsany on 24 May 2011, upon the death of his father.[2] He lives at his family's ancient castle in Ireland, Dunsany Castle and Demesne, which is more than 800 years old.

In 2010, he established Dunsany Productions, a film production company.[1] In 2013, he appeared in the final episode of the second season of TLC's reality television series Secret Princes, because his brother Oliver was appearing in the series.[4]
