Randall K. Cooper High School (also known as Cooper High School), located in Union, Kentucky, is the fourth high school in the Boone County School system, the third largest school district in Kentucky, the other high schools being Boone County High School, Conner High School, and Ryle High School.

The school was named in honor of the late founding principal of Ryle High School.[2]

The school was built to alleviate crowding at the other three schools.[3]

Some middle schools that feed into this school are Ockerman Middle School and Camp Ernst Middle School

This school, already fairly new, is to already undergo further renovation for more room for the extensive amount of students. Construction is expected to be finished before the 2014-2015 School year begins. Cooper High School is, by just a few tenths, right behind Ryle High School in ACT scores, which increase every year at both schools.

Athletics

Cooper High School is a member of the KHSAA. The school colors are Maroon and Gold and its mascot is the Jaguars.
