Rani Maharani is a 1990 Indian Kannada language film directed by B. Ramamurthy, starring Ambarish, Shashikumar and Malashri in lead roles. The supporting cast features Jaggesh, Umashree, Doddanna, Mysore Lokesh, Umesh, Tennis Krishna.[1] The film is said to be inspired from Hindi language films, Seeta Aur Geeta (1972) and ChaalBaaz (1989).[2] It was remade in 2010 by B. Ramamurthy, titled Na Rani Nee Maharani.[3]
