Ranunculus cortusifolius, the Azores buttercup,[1] is a plant species in the genus Ranunculus, family Ranunculaceae.[2] It grows on moister sites throughout the Canary and Azores Islands but is widely cultivated elsewhere as an ornamental.[3] There are reports of it having become naturalized in parts of California.[4]
The plant has palmately lobed leaves and showy yellow flowers.
