The Green Borer (Raphimetopus ablutella) is a species of snout moth in the genus Raphimetopus. It was described by Ragonot in 1894. It is found in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Macedonia, Greece,^[1] Israel, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, India^[2] and South Africa.^[3]

The larvae have been recorded on Zea mays^[4] and Saccharum officinarum. They bore the shoots of their host plant.^[5]
