Rat flea
A rat flea is a parasite of rodents.
There are two species:
- Oriental rat flea (Xenopsylla cheopis), also known as the tropical rat flea, the primary vector for bubonic plague
and
- Northern rat flea (Nosopsyllus fasciatus), a minor vector.
