Ratahi Tomuri

Ratahi Tomuri, is a Floral Designer from New Zealand.[1] He is the founder and Master Florist for Tomuri & Co. Floral Design,[2] New Zealand's Largest Floral Design Company[3]

In 2005 he graduated from Hato Petera College and was awarded a prestigious scholarship for top Maori and Pacific Scholars in Business and Commerce granted by AUT University

In November 2012 he joined the FFE group, one of Australia's most successful florists based in Sydney and Melbourne and later returned to New Zealand to establish his own florist. In July 2013 he opened his first store in Sylvia Park before later opening 2 more stores on Auckland's Viaduct and Botany Town Centre.

He became a brand partner with the Trelise Cooper Group in 2014 and later appointed as the official florist for Christian Dior New Zealand in 2015. His work is admired by thousands of kiwis across New Zealand and abroad, with close to 10,000 followers on Tomuri's Facebook Page.[4]

His profile and work has been featured in the Executive magazine- Auckland Today Magazine[5] and on the cover of Fashion Quarterly Magazine

In December 2016 he was the assigned florist to design the flowers for Oprah Winfrey whilst on a visit to New Zealand for her Evening with Oprah show.[6]
