Ravi Deshpande is an Indian advertising executive. He headed Contract India between 2005 to June 2013 as the Chairman and Chief Creative Officer.[2] Under his leadership, the agency went on to win over 400 creative awards.[3] He is currently designated founder, chairman and CCO of Whyness, an integrated communications agency.[4]
Career
Ravi Deshpande has a career spanning 28 years. Deshpande has had two stints with Contract. He first joined it during its inception in 1987. He started his career with Clarion and has also been associated with Ogilvy and Mather. In 2001, he started his first agency named Lemon, along with Havas Worldwide.[5] In 2005, in his second stint with Contract, he joined again as Chief Creative Officer.[6] Deshpande was promoted as chairman three years later. Cadbury, American Tourister and Asian Paints are some of the brands he has worked on. He has partnered with Seenk for École intuit.lab Mumbai.
