Ravneet Singh is an Indian politician belonging to Indian National Congress. He is Member of Parliament from Ludhiana parliamentary constituency from where he won in spite of a nationwide anti-congress wave. Earlier he represented Anandpur Sahib in Punjab. He was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha in the general elections of 2009. He is the grandson of slain Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh. He is considered a member of the youth brigade of Rahul Gandhi. He is also the first elected President of Youth Congress of Punjab (2008). Ravneet Singh Bittu has worked a lot for betterment of Punjab and is continuing his work against drugs in Punjab.[1]

Works Done in Anandpur Sahib

Bittu worked hard in Anandpur Sahib Constituency for the welfare of people and development of the area. He worked towards opening of punjabs first IIT in Ropar, Opening of Tata memorial cancer hospital and research centre, Opening of Medical college in mohali etc.

Works Done for Punjab

Ravneet Bittu observed a 6-day hunger strike in ludhiana to force the akali government to form a drug prevention board in Punjab and he was successful in his endeavors. He also undertook a 45-day padyatra in which he covered 1500 km by foot across Punjab to raise awareness against drugs.
