Raymond Vincent Buivid (August 15, 1915 – July 5, 1972) was an American football player who played quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Bears. Buivid played for the Marquette "Golden Avalanche" football team in the first Cotton Bowl Classic. In 1936, he finished third in the voting for the Heisman Trophy and was a consensus All-American as a halfback. In 1937, he became the first rookie to throw five touchdowns in an NFL game.[1]
