Real Destroyer are a Salvadoran professional football club based in Puerto de la Libertad, El Salvador.
History
Real Destroyer bought the spot of Isidro Metapán B for the 2013/2014 and will play in the Salvadoran Second Division.[1]
On January 2, 2014 the club decided to change their name to Real Tecleño, However, after a camapgn they reverted to the Real Destroyer name.
On May 31, 2015 Real Destroyer reached their first final in the club history and faced EL roble for the Clausura title. After the first leg ended in 1–1 all draw, the second leg was comprehensive victory for Real Destroyer winning the Segunda division title 5–2 on aggregate.
After a two-week game aggregate series later Real Destroyer defeated Guadulupano (the champion of the 2014 Apertura title) 3–2 with goals by, and allowing for Real Destroyer to be promoted to the first division for the first time in the club history.[2]
However, on 13 July 2015 due to financial trouble, Real Destroyer sold their spot in the Primera División de Fútbol Profesional to C.D. Sonsonate.[3]
Afterwards they sold their spot in Segunda division to the reincarnated version of Quequeisque and was dissolved right after.
