The red-winged lark (Mirafra hypermetra) is a species of lark in the Alaudidae family.
Population and range
The range of the red-winged lark is quite extensive within Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda, with an estimated global extent of occurrence of 660,000 km2.[1]
Its total population has yet to be quantified, but is believed to be large.[1]
Habitat
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland.
