Reece Jones (artist)

Reece Jones is a contemporary artist born in 1976.

Jones was born in Botswana and lives and works in London.[1] He was one of the founding members / curators of the Rockwell project space in Hackney The Rockwell Project.

Reece Jones' recent solo shows include All Visual Arts, London[2][3] and Triumph Gallery, Moscow[4]

Recent group shows include Turps Banana gallery, London. Herrick gallery, London,[5] The Agency Gallery, London,[6] Saatchi Gallery, London, The Royal West of England Academy,[7] Stephane Simoens, Belgium,[8] Voorkamer, Belgium,[9] Drawing Room, London.[10]

Reece Jones recently curated The Hair Of The Dog at Block 336 Brixton.[11] He was a selector for Barbican Arts Group Trust’s Artworks Open 2012 & 2013[12] and curated Terminalia at Charlie Smith London in 2014.[13]

Writing includes the catalogue interview for Mittelland by Jonathan Wateridge.[14] He also lectures in Fine Art - Painting at City & Guilds of London Art School, Kennington.[15]
