Residence life at Ohio University

Residence life at Ohio University revolves around four campus greens, or community areas that house resident students and staff. The university mandates that all first- and second-year students live on campus in the greens. It also facilitates programs based on the five university-recognized pillars of the student honor code, and incorporates these into its Residential Housing department.^[1]

Residence life on the Athens campus is encapsulated by the experience of living in dormitories mostly built in the mid-1960's and 70's. The neo-Federalist architecture of university buildings dominates the southeast Ohio landscape and integrates with the ecology of Ohio University.^[2]

College Green

There are two residence halls on the College Green.^[3]
