Resource Magazine
Resource Magazine is a New York-based quarterly publication, dedicated to the photo production industry's sub-culture. Not limiting itself to only covering the business and news sides of things, Resource leaves no aspect of the photo industry uncovered, digging deep into the industry's human side and bringing its lifestyle and culture to its readers.
Audience
Resource's readership include those making their living in the photo industry, both established professionals and up-and-comers. Resource's readers, which includes stylists, producers, editors, art directors, and art buyers, among other industry creatives, influence trends and shape pop culture around the globe.
Circulation
Since publishing its first issue in October 2007, Resource has grown to boast a circulation of 22,000 copies, many of which are available for free in photo studios, labs, and prop and rental houses in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Miami. Resource is also available on newsstands in the United States and across Canada.
RETV
RETV is Resource's online video magazine counterpart. RETV provides additional coverage based on the magazine's print content, as well as original interviews, demos, documents, event coverage, and more. Adam Sherwin is RETV's Executive Producer.
Founders
Resource was founded by Alexandra Niki and Aurelie Jezequel. Alexandra is the founder of Niki Productions, a prop and set building company. Aurelie, an Art Buyer and Producer, is also the founder of ajproductionsny, a production company in which she has worked with many established photographers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Gilles Bensimon, John Clang, and Martin Schoeller, as well as companies such as Nike and Hermès.
