Restore Burn and Wound Research

Restore – Burn and Wound Research (formerly Stoke Mandeville Burns and Reconstructive Surgery Research Trust) was founded in 1991 to support research into burns and burn treatment, and also for research in reconstructive surgery, particularly for patients with breast cancer. The project is based in the Plastic Surgery Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The Trust is a Registered Charity - Number 1003899

The President of Restore is Sir Desmond Fennell OBE, and the Patron is HRH The Duke of Kent KG FRS. The Directors of Research are Professor D A McGrouther MD FRCS F Med Sci and Mr A H N Roberts MA BSc BM BCh FRCS FRCSG; the Director of Clinical Studies is Mr M P H Tyler ChM FRCS(Plast).
