Politics of the United Kingdom Political parties Elections |
Restore the Family for Children's Sake is a political party launched in Britain for the 2015 General Election. The party is a single issue party, whose only policy is to agree with Principle 6 of the 1959 UNICEF Declaration on the Rights of the Child. It was formed by John Allman for the North Cornwall constituency, his place of residence. Allman was the only person to stand nominated by the party (as "Let every child have both parents" candidate) in the 2015 election in North Cornwall, giving the party only one local government, and one chance to gain an MP. The party leadership passed quickly to Mr Andrew Bull, who stood in the Plymouth City Council elections for Bullshead ward on the same day as the 2015 general election, as Both Parents Matter candidate. [4] Allman received 52 votes and came in last with 0.1% of the vote.[5]
