Rettai Jadai Vayasu (Tamil: ரெட்டை ஜடை வயசு) is a 1997 Tamil romantic comedy film directed by C. Sivakumar featuring Ajith Kumar and Manthra in the leading roles. Goundamani, Senthil and Ponvannan among others play other pivotal roles in the film, which has music composed by Deva. It was released on 12 December 1997 and received mixed reviews from critics.

Production
The film saw the return of C. Sivakumar, who had previously directed the film Ayudha Poojai, and Bhagyam Cine Arts offered him another chance. During the launch of the film, veteran comedian Goundamani was given a large green garland.[1]
Reception
The film opened in December 1997 to mixed reviews and did not perform well at the box office. Ajith subsequently arranged that the producer also financed his 2001 film, Dheena, to make amends for the losses faced.
