Reza Taslimi

Reza Taslimi is an Iranian intelligence officer (see Ministry of Intelligence and National Security of Iran) who has been involved in a number of state-sponsored assassinations of Iranian political dissidents abroad.

Taslimi has been linked to the assassination of Kurdish-Iranian activist Karim Mohammedzadeh in Nynäshamn, Sweden, on April 1, 1990, and the assassination attempt on the Saudi Arabian ambassador in Sweden one week earlier. In 1992, Taslimi was secretly deported out of Sweden by the Swedish Security Service without the regular police investigators getting any information or the opportunity to interrogate him (one possible reason for this is that he could've had the status of diplomatic immunity).[1] He is also believed to have played a role in the planning of the Mykonos restaurant assassinations in Berlin, Germany in September 1992.
