The Rhineland Football Association (German: Fussball-Verband Rheinland), the FVR, is one of 21 state organisations of the German Football Association, the DFB, and covers the northern part of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.[1]
The FVR is also part of the Regional Football Association South West, one of five regional federations in Germany. The other member of the regional association are the South West German Football Association and the Saarland Football Association.[1]
In 2015, the FVR had 194,201 members, 1,061 member clubs and 3,771 teams playing in its league system.[2]
