The Rhode Island Rams men's ice hockey team represents the University of Rhode Island in Division I of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The Rams are one of the most successful programs in the ACHA, having won several ESCHL championships as well as the national tournament in 2006. The team's head coach Joe Augustine is a former Boston College player who has been with the team since 1989. In 2013, Augustine recorded his 500th career win, the second highest of all time for a URI coach in a single sport.[2] He has had 24 consecutive 20-win seasons with the Rams.[2]
