The Sapphire Flutterer, (Rhyothemis triangularis) is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is widespread in many Asian countries. It consumes many mosquitoes in a day. They fly very slowly and can drift in the air for periods at a time without needing to flap their wings. The Sapphire Flutterer can be used in medicine throughout Asian countries such as China and Japan. [1]
