Ricardo Elizondo Elizondo

Ricardo Elizondo Elizondo (1950 August 24, 2013) was a Mexican writer whose work dealt mostly with the northern states of Mexico (Nuevo León, Tamaulipas) and the border. During his lifetime he was the Administrator of the State Archives in Nuevo León as well as the head librarian of the Biblioteca Cervantina at the Monterrey Tec. Aside from his scholarship work, Elizondo was a member of UNESCO's Memory of the World Committee.

Elizondo died from cancer in August 2013 at the age of 63.[1]
