Richard Fitzgeorge de Stacpoole, 1st Duke de Stacpoole (16 August 1787 7 July 1848) was an Anglo-French Catholic aristocrat and member of the French peerage.

The son of George Stacpoole, 1st Comte Stacpoole, and Catherine Gingell, he attended Rugby School and on his fathers death inherited half of his estate (per the judgement of the French courts), taking the French peerage title of the 2nd Comte Stacpoole on 25 March 1824. He moved to Rome and was created 1st Marquis de Stacpoole on 21 February 1826 by Pope Leo XII, after donating a significant sum (said to be £40,000) to the restoration of a Catholic basilica. He married Elizabeth Tulloch, daughter of Major Francis Tulloch and Margaret Simpson, and died on 7 July 1848 in England at the age of 60. His French seat was at Montigny, Lencoup, and his English seat was Glasshayes in Lyndhurst, The New Forest.[1][2][3]
