Richard Scott Harmon[1] (born August 18, 1991) is a Canadian actor best known for his role as John Murphy in CW's "The 100". Harmon is also known for his roles as Jasper Ames in The Killing and as Ray Snider in "Tower Prep". Harmon also played the role of Andrew Breen in The Wishing Tree. He currently stars in the television show The 100 as John Murphy. Harmon received critical praise as Alex, a blind track runner, in "If I Had Wings".[2]

Biography

Richard Harmon was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada on August 18, 1991.[3] He made his acting debut in the 2002 television series Jeremiah.[4]

Personal life

Richard is a fan of American football, especially the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team.[5] He also is a fan of the television show The Fosters[6] and of Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones. He is a supporter of LGBT rights and considers himself a feminist.[7]

His parents are director Allan Harmon and producer Cynde Harmon; his sister is actress Jessica Harmon.

His girlfriend is actress, Ciara Hanna.
