Richard Haworth

Richard (Dick) Haworth is the chairman of Haworth, an office furniture and architectural interior company based in Holland, Michigan. As chairman, he has led the privately owned company to the third largest sales volume of office furniture and associated product, behind Herman Miller and Steelcase, all of which are headquartered in the West Michigan area. Haworth has served as the President and CEO of Haworth from 1976 until July 20, 2005.[1]

Haworth is an alumnus of Western Michigan University, and received a distinguished alumni award in 2004 from the WMU Alumni Association.[2]

Haworth is a major contributor to the Michigan Republican Party. He is the Chairman Emeritus of the Citizens Research Council of Michigan, which is seeking to merge Saugatuck, Michigan and Douglas, Michigan.[3]
