Richard Higgott

Richard Higgott is an Emeritus Professor of International Political Economy (and former Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research) at the University of Warwick.[1]

He was (1989–90) president of the Australasian Political Studies Association.[2]

In 2008 the Academy of Social Sciences (UK) conferred the award of Academician on him.[3][4]

In June 2011 he took up the position of Vice Chancellor of Murdoch University, Australia.[5] In June 2014 Murdoch suspended Higgott and reported him to the Crime and Corruption Commission, and he resigned from Murdoch in October 2014 to return to a research career.[6]
