Richard Kell (poet)

Richard Kell, Irish poet, born 1927.

A native of County Cork, Kell spent five years in India after which he attended schools in Belfast and Dublin. He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin. He worked as a librarian and teacher in England, till being appointed to as Senior Lecturer in English Literature at Newcastle-upon-Tyne Polytechnic.
