Richard Morthland (born 10 November 1959) is a Republican member of the Illinois General Assembly first elected in 2010.
Morthland has a bachelor's degree from St. Ambrose University. he has a master's degree from Denver Seminary. He has been a professor at Black Hawk College, Scott Community College and Ashford University. He was also a farmer and a member of the Rock Island County Board.
