Richard Yarborough (born 1951) is Professor of English and African American literature and a Faculty Research Associate with the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is also an editor of The Heath Anthology Of American Literature.[1]

Background

Yarborough received his B.A. in English from Michigan State University in 1973 and his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1980. He joined the English department at UCLA in 1979.
