Rick Cluchey

Douglas Charles Cluchey (December 5, 1933 – December 28, 2015) was an American actor. He was friends with Samuel Beckett.

Life

He was born in Chicago. He served in the Army. He was imprisoned for armed robbery. He started acting in San Quentin. His sentence was commuted by Pat Brown and he was released in 1966. In a Berlin production, he was assistant director to Samuel Beckett.[1] He was featured in the premiere of “Krapp’s Last Tape,” He died in Santa Monica.[2]
