Ricky Eat Acid is the solo project of Maryland musician Sam Ray.

History

Sam Ray (born April 25, 1991) began the project Ricky Eat Acid in 2011 with the self-release of an album titled Seeing Little Ghosts Everywhere.^[1] The same year he released another album titled Haunt U Forever via Chill Mega Chill.^[2]

In January 2012, Ray released a song titled A Smoothie Robot For Moon Mansion via Bad Panda Records.^[3] In December of the same year, Ray released an album titled You Get Sick; You Regret Things via Orchid Tapes.^[4]

In January 2014, Ray released his third full-length album (second with Orchid Tapes) titled Three Love Songs.^[5][6] On July 8, 2014, Ray self-released an EP titled Sun Over Hills.^[7][8] On July 15, 2014, Ray released a single titled p u l l (may15) via Secret Songs.^[9][10]

In January 2015, Ray released a song titled Context via Canvasclub.^[11][12] In May 2015, Ray released a mixtape titled Mixtape.^[13][14]
