Ringer Glacier

Ringer Glacier (77°15′S 161°51′E / 77.250°S 161.850°E / -77.250; 161.850Coordinates: 77°15′S 161°51′E / 77.250°S 161.850°E / -77.250; 161.850) is a glacier, 5 nautical miles (9.3 km) long, heading on the northeast flank of Saint Johns Range and flowing northeast to Miller Glacier, Victoria Land. Named in association with the distinctive ring-shaped moraine at its mouth, The Ringer (77°13′14″S 162°03′57″E / 77.22056°S 162.06583°E / -77.22056; 162.06583). The name first appeared on a 1961 New Zealand map; approved by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1995.
