The Riverport Railway (reporting mark RVPR) is a switching railroad located in Savanna, Illinois and operates the former Savanna Army Depot Track.[1] The company offers services in railcar storage, switching,[2] railcar cleaning and repair (Via the RESCAR company) and Inserv Rail Cleaning Company [3][4] and transloading services.[5]
The Riverport Railroad interchanges with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe.[6]
Roster
The Riverport Railroad has a unique roster. Two of the companies locomotives are Baldwin RS-4-TC that formerly worked with the U.S. Army[7]
