John Robert "Rob" Shirakbari (born November 15, 1963), also known as Rob Shrock, is an American-born musician (keyboards/piano), composer, producer, and orchestrator.[1]
Life and work
Rob Shirakbari is known most for his tenure as the musical director and arranger for Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick[2][3] and currently as the producer, arranger and conductor of Rumer's album "Into Colour" for Atlantic Records.[4]
Don Was, Burt Bacharach & Rob Shrock were the musical arrangers and directors for the 72nd Academy Awards.[5] Rob played keyboards in a tribute to Oscar-winning songs that featured Faith Hill, Ray Charles, Garth Brooks and Isaac Hayes.[6]
