Robert A. Bradway is the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Amgen.[1] Previously, He was the president and chief operating officer from May 2010 to May 2012.[2] In 2011, He was appointed to the Amgen Board of Directors.[3] Bradway joined Amgen in 2006 as vice president, Operations Strategy, and served as Executive Vice president and Chief Financial Officer from April 2007 to May 2010.[4]
Career at Morgan Stanley
Before joining Amgen, Bradway was the MD for banking department and corporate finance Europe, for Morgan Stanley in London. In 1985, He joined Morgan Stanley in New York as a health care industry investment banker. He then moved to London in 1990 where he served as head of Morgan Stanley's international health care investment banking activities. He subsequently, assumed responsibility for corporate finance management.[5]
Education
Bradway holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard University.[6]
